Job summary

YMCA is seeking a part-time School Age Child Care Youth Aid (16+) in Flemington, NJ for the 2026-2027 school year. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00pm–6:00pm, with hourly pay between $15.50 and $17.00.

We value teamwork, community connection, and a love of working with kids. Responsibilities include finding engaging activities, staying patient with parents, and supervising children during activities, homework, and snack time in our before-and-after school program.

Qualifications

• 16+ years of age
• Prior experience working with children (professional, volunteer, or familial)
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances

Responsibilities

• Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn
• Being patient and kind with our parents
• Safely supervising children through activities, snack time, homework time, etc. in before and after school daycare program
