Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas seeks a dedicated supervisor to organize and deliver after-school and summer programs for youth. You will promote positive youth development, model appropriate behavior, and help maintain a safe, engaging environment.

Responsibilities include program development and evaluation, coordinating schedules, communicating with staff and families, and ensuring safety procedures. A valid driver's license and background check are required; age 18+ is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Knowledge of youth development.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behaviors.
• Ability to interact with the public (verbal and written).
• Ability to implement quality programs for youth.
• Flexible, adaptable, and mobile when supervising children in a group setting.
• Organize and supervise members in a safe environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Background check and fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and promote activities and programs before/after school or in summer programs.
• Maintain safe, positive environment and deescalate behaviors as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate programs for safety and quality.
• Communicate with staff, parents, and youth to support development and participation.
• Assist with record-keeping, trainings, and safety procedures.
