Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier seeks a part-time Youth Development Professional to foster positive youth development across education, arts, sports and life skills. Responsibilities include planning activities, guiding youth, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring program quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required and provided by the organization.
• Must pass fingerprint background check, drug screening, mandated reporting, onboarding, BGCA and BGCL training.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for youth.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate programs and activities.
• Provide guidance, encouragement and positive role modeling.
• Communicate professionally with staff, youth, families and partners.
• Complete program lesson plans and rosters accurately and on time.
• Maintain active supervision and follow safety procedures.
