Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties is seeking a Youth Development Professional to support after-school and program activities. This part-time, hourly role focuses on delivering arts, health, leadership, education, and recreation programs while ensuring a safe, engaging environment for club members.

Under supervision of the Site Coordinator, you will help recruit members, promote programs, maintain health and safety standards, and coordinate with community partners.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks.
• High school education or higher.
• Previous experience working with youth preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Card (preferred).
• MMR Vaccination or Medical/Religious Exemption.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements activities for youth using existing curriculum and local initiatives.
• Works with the Site Coordinator to establish community relationships benefiting the Club.
• Establishes a program setting that ensures health and safety of members.
• Promotes and markets programs to Club members.
• Ensures licensing regulations are followed.
• Contributes to the Club’s climate for youth development and outreach.
