Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is hiring a Childcare Youth Development Specialist to provide hands-on programming and maintain a safe environment for members at Keller locations.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, administrative duties, and delivering engaging programming while serving as a positive role model. Schedule is 2 pm–7 pm during the school year, with potential full summer hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of experience working with youth.
• Must meet state requirements for licensed childcare site.
• Available to work 2 pm–7 pm Monday–Friday during the school year; up to 37.5 hours per week during summer.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies at the site.
• Protect members, staff, equipment, and facilities; follow maintenance procedures.
• Report incidents and complete documentation on time.
• Maintain discipline and de-escalate conflicts between members and others.
• Provide hands-on programming while creating a safe and engaging environment.
