Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas is seeking a part-time Youth Development Professional to support after-school programs for ages 6–18. You will deliver hands-on activities, ensure safety, and help members connect with program areas, events, and services.

The role requires at least a GED/high school diploma, 18+ years old, and the ability to obtain a background check and CPR/First Aid certification. You should be energetic, flexible, and capable of building positive relationships with youth,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma GED is required.
• 18+ years old.
• Must pass a background check. Must be over 18 to work with youth, over 21 to work with teens.
• Must have at least one year experience working with children.
• CPR and First Aid certifications (course will be available for staff upon being hired).

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate programs and activities for ages 6–18.
• Ensure safe implementation of all programs and activities (equipment, supervision, etc).
• Orient new members to program areas, events, and rules.
• Assist Program Director in all phases of club operation.
• Maintain a positive Club culture with high energy and teamwork.
