Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas is seeking a Youth Development Professional to support after-school programs for youth ages 6–18. This part-time, hourly role focuses on safe, engaging activities and building positive relationships within the Club.

Working under the Program Director, you will deliver structured activities, monitor behavior, supervise members, and help with registration and daily club operations while upholding the organization’s policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior.
• Capability to multi-task in a busy after-school environment.
• Pass background check and obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate programs reflecting BGCA core areas for ages 6–18.
• Ensure safe implementation of activities and proper equipment use.
• Orient new members to program areas, events, and rules.
• Implement and monitor programs, evaluating services for members.
• Maintain a neat, attractive program area and assist with registrations.
