Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area in Markesan is seeking Youth Development Staff for the Site Coordinator role, with a school-year schedule of Monday–Friday 3:00–5:30pm and 15–25 hours per week.

You will plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate diverse programs in education, arts, sports, and wellness, while ensuring safety and fostering a positive, high-energy environment for youth participation.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of youth development strategies.
• Ability and commitment to role model and promote health and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that facilitates youth development outcomes and engagement.
• Foster fun and creativity in a high-energy setting.
• Promote program participation and encourage new member registration.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members.
• Safely implement and supervise programs and activities for drop-in members and visitors.
• Prepare activity and outcome reports.
• May participate in events outside typical hours.
• Maintain clean, organized program areas for safety and engagement.
• Serve as a Mandated Reporter of child abuse.
