Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio is seeking a Youth Development Professional to provide high-quality after-school and summer programming for K-12 youth in Columbus. The role focuses on fostering belonging, positive relationships, and skill development within a safe, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include implementing BGCA curriculum, maintaining attendance records, promoting social-emotional learning, and collaborating with staff across clubs.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year working with youth preferred or 2 years’ general relevant experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and basic computer skills.

Mansioni

• Independently implementing core BGCA curriculum and evaluating programs, services, and activities with members in a safe environment.
• Maintain a program area schedule; ensure programming is age appropriate.
• Contribute to a healthy and safe environment; maintain facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Promote the development of social and emotional skills.
• Manage classroom conduct and redirect behavior as needed.
• Maintain daily and monthly attendance records during programming.
• Fulfilling responsibilities and other duties as assigned; travel to other clubs as required.
