Job summary

North Saint Paul Maplewood & Oakdale School District 622 is seeking a part-time Youth Development Club Instructor to lead an enrichment program for middle school students. The role involves creating engaging lessons, guiding activities focused on social-emotional growth, and fostering a safe, inclusive club environment.

You will collaborate with school staff and the FLIGHT Site Manager, develop flexible weekly sessions, and ensure proper documentation and policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in developing and implementing an Enrichment Club for middle school students.
• Create lesson plans for each club session with hands-on activities.
• Communicate and maintain good relationships with school personnel, FLIGHT Site Manager, staff, parents, students, and the public.
• Create a fun, educational atmosphere emphasizing respect and openness to trying new things.
• Assist in maintaining program records.
• Perform light clean-up and routine site maintenance.
• Follow District and FLIGHT policies and guidelines.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
