Job summary

Align Behavioral Health LLC in Sussex County, NJ is seeking a Behavioral Assistant (BA) to work one-to-one with youth in home, school, and community, following treatment plan goals. This part-time role offers flexible after-school and evening hours, requires a high school diploma, and involves writing progress notes in CYBER, coordinating with clinical staff, and supporting families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• At least one year of relevant experience with youth.
• Valid NJ driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Availability for after school and evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Work one to one with youth ages 5 through 20 in home and community to implement treatment goals.
• Model, coach, and practice skills in routines, coping strategies, communication, following expectations.
• Help youth regulate behavior and coach caregivers when you are not there.
• Write a progress note for every session and submit it in CYBER within the agency timeframe.
• Attend Child Family Team meetings when requested and check in regularly with the assigned IIC clinician.
• Work under the supervision of appropriate clinical staff, as required by N.J.A.C. 10:77.
