Qualifications

• Familiarity of rules and regulations pertaining to fire and safety drills posted in the area.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma required.
• Chapter 74 Vocational Educator Licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Main Office prior to 7:10 AM, then to assigned area before school begins; secure assignments and rosters.
• Study and follow the teacher’s lesson plans.
• Record pupil attendance and submit absentee list to Main Office.
• Maintain classroom discipline and report concerns to Assistant Principal's Office.
• Monitor shop equipment and materials; report safety concerns.
• Notify nurse of illnesses or accidents.
• Keep shop area neat and orderly at day end.
• Provide a daily summary to the Teacher of work covered and behavior.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
