Job summary

Sylvan Learning of Charlotte is seeking in-person after-school tutors to support reading and math programs in local schools. Tutors work with students in Uptown Charlotte and Huntersville areas, helping build confidence and skills after the school day.

Shifts run 4:00–6:00 p.m. on Mon, Tue, and Thu. No lesson planning or grading required—just a passion for teaching and making a difference in students' learning.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in tutoring or teaching preferred.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work with elementary or middle school students.

Responsibilities

• Tutor Sylvan Reading and Math programs in schools.
• Engage students in a supportive, encouraging learning environment.
• Assist with skill-building and confidence in math and literacy.
