Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent instructional contractors to provide traditional visual art enrichment services for K–12 students. This is a potential independent contractor assignment, not an employee position, with on-site opportunities varying by school and assignment.

Contractors may choose to apply, accept, or decline opportunities and may adapt instruction to site requirements and available materials. Assignments vary by grade level, schedule, and program objectives.

Qualifications

• 60 college credits required by assignment or site.
• Experience with traditional visual art, drawing, painting, or related disciplines.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or leading activities with school-age students.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom facilitation skills.
• Availability to provide services for the accepted assignment schedule and communicate schedule issues promptly.
• Ability to demonstrate artistic techniques while fostering creativity and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate traditional art sessions.
• Introduce students to foundational and intermediate visual art concepts through hands-on projects.
• Adapt activities based on student experience levels, site requirements, and available materials.
• Support students in creating drawings, paintings, portfolios, or other art projects.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive learning environment.
• Complete session completion forms after each session.
• Follow site safety and classroom procedures.
