Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a School Age After Care Teacher for our on-site program serving kindergarten through fifth grade after their elementary day. This part-time role runs Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–6pm, with pay starting at $15 per hour and $18 per hour if you can drive the 14-passenger bus.

A valid driver's license and background check are required. You will supervise children, assist with homework, plan engaging activities, and maintain a safe,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check (fingerprinting) required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (can be completed within 30 days of hire).
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Communicates openly with both parents and staff.
• Provides active supervision at all times.
• Activity planning (indoor and outdoor).
• Helping children with homework assignments, conflict resolution and other classroom interactions.
• Feeding the children their afternoon snack.
• Building respectful relationships in the classroom.
• Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures.
