Job summary

Kids In Action is seeking an enthusiastic After-School Teacher to support children ages 3-10 in our hands-on, organized program.

You will co-create a safe, engaging classroom, implement the daily curriculum, and guide children through activities after school hours, 2:30–6:30 pm, Monday–Friday. Training is provided, and opportunities for advancement are available. Weekend work available if desired.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must love working and playing with kids.

Responsibilities

• Oversee students, ages 3-10, during after-school hours.
• Implement daily curriculum in the classroom.
• Aid and coordinate the children’s personal care, hygiene, learning activities, specialized programs and positive guidance.
• Ensure that classroom and other play areas are consistently clean and safe.
• Inform parents of their children’s behavior.

After school teachers will oversee students, ages 3-10 years, learning during after school hours. We host a fun, hands on and organized environment. Teachers help implement daily curriculum for children in the classroom. Aids and coordinates the children’s personal care, hygiene, learning activities, specialized programs and positive guidance. Ensures that classroom and other play areas are consistently clean and safe. Informs parents of their children’s behavior.

After-School hours – 2:30 – 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday, Weekend work available if desired
