Job summary

Kids In Action is seeking an After-School Teacher (willing to train) to supervise children aged 3–5 and support the daily curriculum after school. The role involves creating a fun, organized environment while ensuring safety and personal care for each child.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with kids, reliable, and ready to work 2:00–6:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Training and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with children is a plus, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee students aged 3–5 during after-school hours.
• Assist with implementing daily curriculum in the classroom.
• Coordinate children’s personal care, hygiene, and activities.
• Provide positive guidance and maintain a clean, safe classroom and play areas.
• Update parents on children’s behavior and progress.

Job Post Details:

After school teachers will oversee students, age 3-5, learning during after school hours. We host a fun, hands on and organized environment. Teachers help implement daily curriculum for children in the classroom. Aids and coordinates the children’s personal care, hygiene, learning activities, specialized programs and positive guidance. Ensures that classroom and other play areas are consistently clean and safe. Informs parents of their children’s behavior.

After-School hours – 2:00 – 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday, Weekend work available if desired

Minimum job requirements:
