Job summary

Learning Community Charter School is seeking a Director of the CIRCLE Space and Summer Program to oversee the daily operations and development of the CIRCLE Space, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for students. The role includes supervision, budgeting, and collaboration with families and community partners.

Responsibilities include managing program schedules, supervising staff, planning the summer program, and producing reports.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supervising youth programs.
• Ability to develop and implement program schedules and budgets.

• Experience with attendance, sign-in/out, and records.
• Experience onboarding staff and training volunteers.
• Ability to collaborate with families and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily management and supervision of the CIRCLE Space program.
• Develops and implements the CIRCLE Space program.
• Oversee the implementation of program schedules, activities, and operational procedures.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students.
• Monitor attendance, student sign-in/sign-out procedures, and dismissal protocols.
• Assist with maintaining accurate program records and documentation.
• Plan and implement LCCS' summer program.
• Maintain a program budget that generates a profit.
• Lead onboarding and training of new employees and volunteers.
• Serve as acting program leader in the Director's absence.
• Work with the LCCS administration to identify and hire summer program faculty.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with families.
• Communicate program updates, schedules, and information to families.
• Assist in addressing parent questions and feedback.
• Support family events and community-building activities.
• Promote the summer program and design promotional materials.
• Collaborate with school staff and community partners to enhance programming.
• Monitor program quality and student participation.
