Job summary

Learning Community Charter School seeks an After School Director for the CIRCLE Space and Summer Program. This full-time role leads daily operations, ensures a safe, inclusive environment, and coaches staff to deliver engaging activities for students.

The position reports to the LCCS Head of School and includes health benefits and pension plan participation. Responsibilities include program oversight, staff onboarding, budgeting, family communication, and community partnerships to promote

Qualifications

• Experience directing after-school programs or similar youth programs.
• Strong leadership and supervision capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage program budgets and operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the CIRCLE Space program.
• Develop and implement program schedules and activities.
• Ensure safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students.
• Monitor attendance, sign-in/out, and dismissal procedures.
• Maintain accurate program records and documentation.
• Plan and manage the summer program and related budgets.
• Provide coaching and onboarding for staff and volunteers.
• Collaborate with families and community partners to enhance programming.
