Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Kentucky Corps is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee after-school and summer enrichment programs for children, ensuring compliance with state licensing and program standards.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, budget adherence, stakeholder engagement, and reporting to Corps Officers. The role emphasizes child safety, community partnerships, and effective program administration within TSA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or higher in child development/elementary education preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience with school-age children in a licensed center.
• Must have effective communication skills and be safety conscious.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to drive a van/bus.
• Must read/write in English and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee after-school and summer programs and staff.
• Mentor children and visit local schools.
• Coordinate licensing processes with Kentucky officials.
• Ensure compliance with Kentucky Child Care Standards.
• Maintain program budgets and record payments.
• Record monthly statistics and reports for DHQ and program partners.
• Recruit volunteers and coordinate with coordinators for clearances.
• Promote programs and build attendance with community partners.
