Job summary

All Things Science in Whittier, CA is seeking enthusiastic instructors to lead after-school STEM classes. You will guide students through creative projects, build problem-solving skills, and help them see science in a new way.

Teach hands-on lessons from our prepared curriculum, travel to school sites in the Whittier area, and contribute to a supportive, mission-driven team while gaining valuable teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with kids and making learning fun
• Experience in classrooms, camps, tutoring, or similar youth programs is a plus, and we provide training
• Reliable, flexible, and open to trying new teaching strategies
• Interest in STEM, education, or both

Responsibilities

• Teach hands on science and engineering lessons using our prepared curriculum
• Keep a dynamic classroom running smoothly from start to finish
• Encourage curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking
• Work weekday afternoons, typically starting around 1:00 PM
• Travel to one or more school sites in the Whittier area
