Job summary

All Things Science in Long Beach seeks motivated instructors to run after-school STEM classes. You will support students with engaging activities that strengthen problem solving and spark curiosity.

You will lead science and engineering projects, manage a lively classroom, and foster curiosity while traveling to local school campuses in Long Beach. This role offers paid training and a chance to build teaching experience with a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated care for working with kids in a classroom.
• Experience with youth programs is a plus and may include paid training.
• Punctual, flexible, and able to adjust on the fly.
• Passion for STEM and helping students learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead science and engineering projects with our step by step curriculum.
• Manage a lively classroom and keep things on track.
• Foster curiosity, cooperative work, and critical thinking.
• Work weekday afternoons, generally starting around 1:00 PM.
• Travel to local school campuses in Long Beach.
