Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time After School Instructor in Middlefield, CT to deliver hands-on STEM, Digital Tech, and related instruction to students. You will follow provided lesson plans, ensure timely preparation, and collaborate with site staff and the Program Success Manager to provide engaging and standards-aligned learning experiences.

Qualifications include an AA degree or higher, 2+ years teaching or instructing, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Part-time position.
AA Degree (or higher).
2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred).
Experience working with children.
Educational (development or training) experience.
Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
Great communication and presentation skills.
Reliable transportation.
Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students as assigned.
Review lesson plans and materials prior to instruction and be prepared.
Engage professionally with the Program Success Manager and site staff.
Deliver engaging, standard-aligned instruction using Nexplore’s programs and materials.
Participate in family engagement efforts and student showcases.
