Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an Electronic Game Design & STEM - After School Instructor in Providence, RI. The role involves delivering hands-on STEM, digital tech, art, life skills and fitness instruction to PreK-12 students, with training and prepared lesson plans provided.

Part-time hours, 3:30PM–4:30PM slots, and on-site delivery are emphasized. Responsibilities include following schedules, maintaining materials, and engaging families; qualifications include AA degree and 2+ years teaching or related

Qualifications

AA Degree (or higher).
2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred).
Experience working with children.
Educational (development or training) experience.
Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
Great communication and presentation skills.
Reliable transportation.
Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction.
Follow provided lesson plans, curriculum, and materials; prep for instruction.
Teach students in grades PreK-12 as assignment varies.
Report to Program Success Manager.
Maintain schedule, arrive on time, review materials prior to instruction.
Engage with families and site personnel; participate in engagement efforts.
