Job summary

Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) seeks an afterschool facilitator to support the Girls Inc. program across Madison area schools. You will help implement weekly curricula and foster a positive, inclusive environment for youth.

You will travel to multiple locations, attend mandatory trainings, and assist with attendance and participant data. This role runs during the school year with potential summer hours and requires reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, dependable, interest in working with youth and positive attitude.
• Must be able to attend mandatory training, meetings and scheduled work shifts.
• Must be able to travel to multiple locations easily within the same day.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to develop weekly Girls Inc. curriculum plans.
• Act as a lead teacher for Girls Inc. programming for MSCR elementary and/or middle school afterschool programs.
• Record and track participant data and attendance.
• Participate in Girls Inc. training and professional development and attend Facilitator meetings.
• Attend weekly meetings at MSCR Central as scheduled (typically a few hours in the afternoon) (unless school is on holiday recess)
