Job summary

Girls Inc. of Greater Miami is looking for a passionate individual to facilitate afterschool programming for elementary-age girls. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment, leading structured activities and homework support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of participants.

This position requires strong communication skills, collaboration with teammates, and a commitment to working with youth from diverse backgrounds. A high school degree is required, while an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience leading or facilitating activities with youth in a group setting.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Demonstrated understanding of child growth and development, particularly with elementary-age girls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage up to 20 elementary-age girls during afterschool programming.
• Facilitate curriculum-based lessons and activities with fidelity.
• Maintain active supervision during all activities and transitions.
