The Brooklyn College Community Partnership (BCCP), operating under RFCUNY, seeks part-time activity specialists to lead after-school STEAM and enrichment activities in COMPASS programs. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Commitment to equity and culturally responsive teaching practices
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Interest in community work and youth development
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace

Aufgaben

• Design, organize, and lead high-quality activities within the assigned specialty area (Music Production, Art, Dance, Theater, STEM, Digital Media, Podcast)
• Create lesson plans aligned with program objectives
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment for all participants
• Facilitate engaging experiences that build skills and collaboration
• Prepare participants for culminating events such as showcases or performances
• Provide homework help and enrichment support as needed
• Maintain attendance and activity documentation per DYCD requirements
• Report incidents to the Program Director promptly
• Mentor youth and support their academic and SEL growth
• Attend weekly supervisor check-ins and ongoing professional development
