Greater Somerset County YMCA is seeking Site Supervisors for before- and after-school programs in Basking Ridge, Bedminster, and Bernards Twp. This on-site role focuses on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in a community setting.

You will supervise children ages 5–12, help plan activities, ensure safety, and build strong relationships with families and staff. Associates degree or 2 years' relevant experience required for part-time work.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Associates degree in childcare, education, or related field.
• OR minimum of 2 years' experience working with children ages 5-12.
• Experience working with children in a structured group setting.
• Good communication skills and ability to relate to diverse groups.

Aufgaben

• Assists with implementation of a varied and challenging program of activities for children.
• Supervises all children on the site.
• Builds relationships with children and families and assists with questions or concerns.
• Maintains discipline under policy and code of conduct.
• Motivates and encourages children to participate in activities.
• Provides a safe environment and follows safety procedures.
• Keeps site organized, clean and ready for children; coordinates setup and cleanup.
