FirstCoast YMCA in Orange Park, FL is seeking a part-time Youth Development staff member to supervise staff, plan age-appropriate activities, and ensure licensure compliance. This role requires strong budget awareness, scheduling skills, and a commitment to positive community relations.

The position is part-time (under 30 hours) with base pay of $18.00 per hour and includes a free YMCA branch membership as additional compensation. Training and certifications are required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Six months' supervisory experience.
• CPR, First Aid, AED and 40 hours licensing courses completed within 30 days of hire.
• Fulfillment of state-specific hiring standards and YMCA program certifications.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups in the community.
• Ability to interpret and implement fiscal requirements.

Responsabilités

• Supervise staff and schedule to ensure proper coverage.
• Maintain accurate records for children and staff.
• Adhere to budgets and notify deviations.
• Plan developmentally appropriate activities with staff.
