Job summary

iKids U is seeking a Site Director to lead the Texas Licensed after-school program at an Austin elementary school. The role blends administrative, instructional, and enrichment duties, supervising a small team and ensuring safety and licensing compliance.

The position involves implementing the program at one site, using our lesson plans, maintaining student records, and communicating with families and school staff. It offers around 30 hours per week with pay starting at $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months leading a Licensed Child Care program is required.
• Clear fingerprinting background results are required.
• Reliable, independent transportation is required.
• Leadership experience required.
• College degree preferred, or college classes in relative field required.
• Currently live in the Austin metroplex.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Implement, develop, and regulate the iKids program at one school site.
• Teach Curriculum using our iKids U lesson plans with engaging activities.
• Supervise and implement all company policies, procedures, and maintain student records.
• Ongoing professional development and training to keep record-keeping running smoothly.
• Maintain child safety in a fun, well-managed environment.
• Lead 1–5 iKids Instructors and keep the facility organized.
• Record incidents and behaviors in a timely manner.
• Review curriculum, organize materials, and prepare supplies for daily activities.
• Cultivate positive relationships with staff, families, and the community.
• Start the day by reviewing parent communications and updating staff.
