Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking an After-school Assistant Site Director (Part-time) for Pleasant Hill Elementary School, Lexington, SC.

You will assist the Site Director in running an engaging after-school program from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, fostering curiosity, adventure, and a sense of belonging for children. The role requires at least 21 years of age and relevant education or experience in early childhood development, with a background check and ability to meet licensing

Qualifications

• Associates, Bachelor's or advanced degree in early childhood education or related field with at least 18 credit hours in child development/early childhood education.
• Diploma in child development/early childhood education from a state-approved institution and one year experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School Diploma or GED with ECD 101 and one year experience including supervision of staff in a licensed childcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Director in creating an engaging after-school program at Pleasant Hill Elementary School.
• Assist in supervision and mentoring of staff and ensuring a safe, positive environment for children.

Education

Associates, Bachelor's or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 18 credit hours in child development

Diploma in child development/ECE + 1 year childcare facility experience

HS Diploma or GED + ECD 101 with 1 year supervision experience in licensed childcare facility
