Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. in Lexington, SC seeks an After-school Assistant Site Director for Pleasant Hill Elementary, part-time, 1:30 PM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday. You will support the Site Director and help run a safe, engaging after-school program.

Qualifications

• Requires degree/credential with required credit hours in child development/early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Director in creating a safe, engaging after-school program.
• Support staff and ensure program runs smoothly from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
• Complete background check as required by state regulations and provide proof of experience.

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Locations: Pleasant Hill Elementary School, Lexington, SC

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1:30 PM-6:00 PM

The Assistant Site Director shall be at least 21 years of age and meet one of the following qualifications:

• An associates, bachelor's or advanced degree from a college or university in early childhood education, child development, child psychology or a related field that includes at least eighteen credit hours in child development and/or early childhood education.
• A diploma in child development/early childhood education from a state-approved institution or a child development associate credential (CDA), and one year work experience in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility.
• A High School Diploma or GED, and Early Childhood Development (ECD) 101 with 1 years' experience in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility. One year shall include supervision of child care staff.

Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations, and provide proof of experience.
