Job summary

AlphaBEST Education in Argyle, TX is seeking a part-time Site Director for an after-school program. You’ll lead a meaningful program, manage daily site operations, supervise staff, and ensure safety and licensing compliance.

The role involves coordinating schedules, staffing ratios, and curriculum implementation while building strong relationships with families and school staff. Weekend coverage is not required, and the schedule runs 3:00 pm–6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Must have a BA/BS or CDA in education.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred.
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
• Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation.
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections.
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met.
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events.
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success.
