Job summary

YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a positive role model to plan programming, assist with overseeing the center, and supervise children in our after-school program at Bellwood Elementary in Richmond, VA. Pay is $17–$18 per hour.

The role involves supervising school-age children, helping with snack planning, lesson planning, and engaging with parents to support center operations and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with budgeting and program administration is helpful.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Degree in a related field or CDA; or meet DSS licensing requirements.
• Minimum age 18.
• Candidates must be responsible and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Sight and sound supervision of a group of school-age children.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of a school-age child care center, including snack purchasing, lesson planning, and parent engagement.
