Job summary

The Greater Richmond YMCA is seeking a positive role model to help plan programming, supervise an after-school child care program at Evergreen Elementary, and oversee center operations. Pay is $17-$18 per hour.

Responsibilities include sight and sound supervision of a group of school-age children, snack purchasing, lesson planning, and parent engagement. CPR/First Aid within 90 days is required along with DSS licensing considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience with budgeting and program administration is helpful.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are also necessary.
• Degree in a related field or CDA required or meet DSS licensing requirements.
• Minimum age is 18.
• Candidates must be responsible and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Sight and sound supervision of a group of school age children, along with day-to-day operations of a school-age child care center (snack purchasing, lesson planning, and parent engagement).
