Job summary

Chippewa Valley Schools is seeking part-time Child Care Aides for Fox Elementary in Macomb, MI. Roles include supervising school-age children before and after school, with shifts from 6:45am-9:00am and 3:30pm-6:00pm. Qualifications

• Experience working with children’s groups or training in early childhood development or childcare, preferred.
• Knowledge of school policies and safety regulations, required.
• Good communication skills, required.
• Abilities: caring, understanding and friendly towards students, required.

Responsibilities

• Duties may include crafts, games, stories, lunchtime, etc.
• Assist in planning and organizing daily events.
• Monitor children on the playground.
• Communicate with community, staff, and students to answer questions and explain information.
