Job summary

Big Ideas Educational Services is seeking a Reading Certified Project-Based Learning teacher for after-school hours (3:30 PM–5:30 PM) in Miami. You will deliver standards-aligned reading instruction through engaging PBL experiences and monitor student progress.

Work with the Instructional Coach and Site Coordinator to differentiate instruction, use assessment data, and connect classroom concepts to real-world applications while maintaining a safe and collaborative learning environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida teaching certificate with Reading certification or Elementary Education certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• 1–2 years classroom experience preferred; elementary age.
• Knowledge of Florida B.E.S.T. Standards and literacy instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project-based reading instruction aligned with Florida's B.E.S.T. Standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress; maintain records of progress.
• Collaborate with Instructional Coach and Site Coordinator to adjust instruction based on data.
• Foster a positive classroom culture and engage families as needed.
• Prepare engaging daily lesson plans and materials; integrate technology when appropriate.
