Job summary

The Eugene Family YMCA in Eugene, OR is seeking a Youth Development Program Leader 2 to support full-day youth development programs, provide childcare, enrichment and physical activities, and build positive relationships with families.

You will lead classroom and program operations, coach staff, and implement YMCA values—honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring—with a focus on safety and program quality. This role follows a M-F schedule at multiple sites in the community.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience and ability to mentor staff.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate after-school programs and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate after-school childcare programs for assigned sites.
• Train, schedule and supervise staff and volunteers.
• Monitor budget to ensure program operates within financial limits.
• Support healthy living and physical activity initiatives.
• Ensure safety and compliance with state/local regulations.
• Maintain positive relationships with families and community partners.
