Job summary

Childrens Home Society of Florida in Florida seeks an Expanded Learning Coordinator to oversee Community Partnership School-based extended learning and enrichment programs. You will coordinate before-, during-, and after-school activities and manage academic, cultural and recreational programming.

This role also handles sign-in logs, transportation, and feeding program duties, and requires collaboration with schools and community partners.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree strongly preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Services is ideal.
• Equivalent combination of education and working experience may be substituted.
• Florida Driver’s License within 30 days from hire and daily access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Community Partnership School extended learning and enrichment programs.
• Coordinate before-, during-, and after-school programs.
• Coordinate academic, cultural and recreational programming.
• Maintain sign-in logs and participant files with all required paperwork.
• Oversee facility management including custodial, safety, classroom, security and transportation.
• May directly transport or arrange for transportation for students.
• Maintain distribution and accounting of feeding/snack program.
• Submit all required documents on time including attendance and snack counts.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, school staff and other collaborators.
• Coordinate evaluation process, including surveys of students, parents and staff.
• Facilitate regular after-school meetings and professional development.
• Assist with general clerical office tasks as needed.
• Maintain files and records; prepare program statistics and reports.
• Recruit and coordinate volunteers for after-school programming.
