Job summary

University Settlement Society Of New York seeks a part-time program coordinator to support after-school and summer activities at 175 Eldridge Street, NYC. You will work with a team to manage daily operations, communicate with parents, and assist in curriculum development and staff training.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or HSE required.
• Experience supervising or coordinating after-school programs.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team with clear email communication to teammates.
• Assist Director in overseeing day-to-day operations of summer day camp, recess, and afterschool programs.
• Attend meetings and participate in event planning and team discussions.
• Conduct parent outreach via phone, memo, and in-person meetings.
• Supervise group leaders, tutors, Outreach Coordinator, and support staff.
• Coordinate with school staff to align after-school program with school-day curriculum.
