Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati Inc is seeking a part-time youth program assistant to support activities after school and in the evenings. You will help deliver education and recreation programs, track attendance, and recognize members for achievements.

The role emphasizes building positive relationships with members and working with staff to ensure safe, engaging experiences. A high school diploma or GED is required, and CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively.
• Understanding of needs and interests of young people.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to interact with young people positively, especially regarding behavior issues.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing programs for Club members using the YPQI model.
• Stimulate interest through instruction, events, and recognition.
• Maintain program records (attendance, meal counts, etc.).
• Provide guidance and build relationships to support member growth.
• Work with Program Leader on Continuous Quality Improvement plans.
• Collaborate with Program Coordinator and staff to enhance program development.
