Job summary

Latin School of Chicago is seeking energetic, dependable individuals to help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging after-school environment for students. This role is ideal for college students, retirees, aspiring educators, or anyone seeking a second job.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m., with starting pay at $17.50 per hour and flexible scheduling around school or other commitments. Join our supportive team and help make afternoons safe and fun.

Responsibilities

• Lead games, crafts, and other fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Help create a safe, welcoming environment where students can learn and play.
• Supervise students in classrooms, gyms, playgrounds, and during transitions.
• Build positive relationships with students and serve as a caring role model.
• Help set up and clean up activity spaces.
• Work closely with your teammates to ensure each afternoon runs smoothly.
• Greet parents and guardians during dismissal and share updates when needed.
