Job summary

Anoka-Hennepin Schools Community Ed Adventures Plus is seeking a Child Care Site Leader for the 2026-2027 school year. You will plan and lead AM/PM activities for school-age children in before/after-school care, supervise Staff, and ensure safety and inclusive practices consistent with district policies.

You will mentor Child Care Assistants, train volunteers, and coordinate with Site Coordinators to maintain smooth operations and high-quality programming.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in large groups and leading activities.
• Ability to supervise and support staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and lead age-appropriate activities for AM and PM hours.
• Supervise daily operations and maintain staff-to-child ratios.
• Provide leadership and training to staff and interns.
• Train and enforce health, safety and behavior policies.
• Support staff in behavior management and promote inclusivity.
• Deliver welcoming customer service to families and maintain records.
• Collaborate with Site Leaders and school staff for smooth operations.
