Job summary

Anoka-Hennepin School District Adventures Plus seeks a Child Care Site Leader for 2026-2027. You will plan and lead AM/PM activities for school-age children, supervise staff, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment. You will train assistants, coordinate with coordinators, and maintain required paperwork to support daily operations.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with group activities, and commitment to safety and inclusion in a busy school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating activities for large groups of students.
• Experience providing work direction and support to staff.
• Ability to implement safety and behavior support plans in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead enriching activities for AM/PM hours.
• Supervise staff, maintain staff-to-child ratios, ensure safety and accountability.
• Mentor and train Child Care Assistants and volunteers; participate in evaluations.
• Implement site policies and health/safety procedures; respond to escalated behavior.
• Deliver welcoming customer service to families and maintain accurate site records.
• Collaborate with Site Leaders and school staff to ensure smooth operations.
