Job summary

Andover Public Schools is seeking a Site Coordinator for the Kid Care Program at multiple elementary schools. The role leads daily operations, supervises staff, ensures licensing compliance, and collaborates with families and school personnel to provide safe, engaging after-school care.

You will plan activities, coordinate schedules, and maintain records, while fostering positive relationships with children, families, and staff across the program.

Qualifications

• Meet and maintain all MA childcare licensing requirements; Site Coordinator experience preferred.
• Candidates must be at least 20 years old and meet education/experience criteria.
• Experience leading staff in childcare, recreation, education, camp, or youth programs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain.
• Ability to pass pre-employment/licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of Kid Care at assigned school.
• Maintain safe, inclusive environment for children and staff.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and Kid Care procedures.
• Plan and coordinate games, crafts, activities, homework support, and outdoor time.
• Supervise and support Site Director, Group Leaders, and Assistants.
• Assign staff responsibilities and ensure coverage.
• Model professional conduct and build positive relationships with families and staff.
• Communicate staffing needs and program operations with the Kid Care Director.
• Assist with curriculum plans and program schedules.
• Participate in training and professional development hours.
