Job summary

A community-focused education organization is looking for a Program Coordinator/Lead Teacher to oversee their Power After-School Program and Summer Leadership Academy. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Education or related fields and at least 2 years of relevant experience. The selected candidate will provide a supportive environment, manage program activities, and ensure engagement among students aged 5 to 19. Benefits include health insurance and a 401(k). The position is onsite with some remote possibilities during non-program hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field.
• High school diploma with 2 years of experience working with youth.
• Ability to manage a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe educational environment for children and youth.
• Supervise children during all program activities.
• Submit weekly lesson plans focused on social learning.
• Coordinate with Teen Leaders to support student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
