Job summary

Jeffco Public Schools is seeking a part-time After School Program Leader for the School Age Enrichment program at West Woods Elementary in Arvada, CO. The role supports the Director in daily operations and supervision of children after school.

Responsibilities include planning activities, maintaining supervision, ensuring staff–to–child ratios, and complying with licensing requirements. Minimum age 18 and 3 months of relevant experience required; wage ranges $22.40–$24.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three months of full-time or equivalent part-time experience with school-age children.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work with children.

Responsibilities

• Assist Program Director in managing and maintaining daily operations of Before and After School Program.
• Practice active supervision and whole area awareness for child safety.
• Plan, prepare and implement program activities, engage students in enrichment activities, field trips, and homework.
• Maintain staff-to-child ratio according to district and state guidelines.
• Follow all district and state licensing policies, certifications, and training requirements.
• Substitute at other SAE sites as needed.
• Foster a collaborative and professional work environment.
