Job summary

The Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) seeks a Part-Time Site Supervisor for the after-school program at PS 97 in Brooklyn. You'll supervise staff, guide activities, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children ages 5-12.

Reporting to the Program Director, you will develop lesson plans, coordinate with school staff, maintain records, and support enrollment efforts while upholding CPC’s values and DYCD/COMPASS goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in early education or school‑age setting.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and activities in afterschool program.
• Ensure health and safety of all participants.
• Collaborate with school staff and CPC leadership.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with DYCD goals.
• Maintain documentation and attendance records.
• Foster inclusive, respectful classroom culture.
