Job summary

Urban Community School is seeking a part-time after-school program staff member for the Ohio City campus. The role focuses on fostering community, supervising students, and delivering engaging activities for Pre-K–8th grade.

The position supports restorative practices and detailed record-keeping within a campus that values safety and student well-being. The role reports to the Director of Before & After Care and involves afternoon hours on Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri and Thu.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working with Pre-K–8th grade students strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Restorative Practices and Conscience Discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong sense of community and culture aligned to UCS mission, for a small group of students.
• Plan and coordinate daily programming that is educational and recreational.
• Lead and support students in age-appropriate activities.
• Actively supervise students to ensure safety at all times.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers and staff; share updates on student progress.
