Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our After School Program at Payneville Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. The role follows the school calendar and runs 3:00 - 5:30 pm with pay in the $14.50–$16.00 per hour range.

This part-time, non-exempt position emphasizes building relationships with children, teamwork with colleagues, and supporting student growth in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands‑on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
